In Footprints Settings, you can configure settings for Model Footprints. You can also select to show or hide drawings by default.
To access the settings, click File > Settings > Footprints.
The footprint settings dialog has four tabs:
Restore Default Settings
To restore the settings in this dialog to default values, click the Restore Default Settings dialog and confirm your action. This action affects the settings in the dialog. Note that this action can't be undone.
On the Space Info tab, you can control if space info is shown by default. You can also set the text size and color, and define the data shown in space info.

Show space information: When checked, space information is shown.

Minimum/maximum text size: Set the minimum/maximum text size for space information.

Text color: Set space info text color. To change the color, click the color box. A dialog opens. Select the color and click OK:

Rows 1-3: You can define the data shown in the space info. The information selected in rows 1-3 is shown when you click the Show space info:
To add a new property, click
. A dialog opens. Select a property and click OK:
On the Grid tab, you can select if the grid is shown by default. You can also set the text size and color, and line color, thickness and transparency.

Show grid: Show/hide grid.

Text size: Set the grid text size.

Text color: Set grid text color. Click the color box and select a color from the Color Chooser.

Line color: Set grid line color. Click the color box and select a color from the Color Chooser.

Line thickness: Set grid line thickness.

Line transparency: Set grid line transparency.
On the Lines tab, you can select if component footprint lines are shown by default. You can also set the line color, thickness and transparency.
