The IFC import Settings are provided by Solibri, but you can change them if needed. To access the settings, click File > Settings > IFC Import.
Use Standard IFC Encoding: When selected, the custom IFC character set is ignored, and the standard IFC encoding is used instead (equivalent to UTF-8).
Character set:

The character set that is used to decode information in IFC files.

If you receive IFC files in a different language or operating system, change the character set. Click , select the character list and click OK:
Import IfcPorts: When selected, IfcPorts are imported. This setting is available in v9.13.8 and newer. Note that if you save a project where the ports are imported, it's incompatible with older versions of Solibri. By default, this setting is off.
Ignored IFC Property Sets:

You can list the IFC property sets you wish to be ignored. By default, the PSet_Draughting set (draft lines) is not imported.
