In Dimension Settings, you can control the appearance of any dimensions that are subsequently placed with the Dimension tool. You can also choose to show further dimension options.
To access the settings, click File, then Settings, then Dimension.
Restore Default Settings
To restore the settings in this dialog to default values, click the Restore Default Settings dialog and confirm your action. This action affects the settings in the dialog. Note that this action can't be undone.

Minimum/maximum text size: Set the minimum/maximum text size for dimensions.
Tip
Generally this value is acceptable for most conditions. Longer dimensions will use the maximum text size while smaller distances will use the minimum value.
If you require a text size change in the dimensions, then experiment with these values in conjunction with relevant zoom positions to ensure they are appropriately sized.

Text/Line color: Set dimension text and line colours. To change the colour, click the colour box. A dialog opens. Select a colour and click OK:

Line thickness: Set dimension line thickness.

Show dimension options: When checked, a further dialog is shown after the dimension has been placed on the model. In the dialog, you can select the location on the source and target elements for the dimension. Further options can be checked for displaying horizontal and vertical values along with the usual physical dimension between the chosen points.
