This article describes how you can use the Custom Hierarchy feature to view checking results. The Custom Hierarchy option is available in the Results view, along with two other hierarchy options, and you can use it to set up your own hierarchy for viewing the checking results. Custom hierarchies can be saved as .hierarchy files and reused in other projects. The Custom Hierarchy feature is available in v9.13.3 and newer.

With the Custom Hierarchy feature, you can organize your checking results in a way that matches your project-specific needs. You can set up your own hierarchies by defining the property for each hierarchy level. For example, you can organize the results per floor or per component type.
Custom hierarchies can be saved as files and reused later. By default, custom hierarchies are saved in C:\Users\Public\Solibri\SOLIBRI\Hierachies.
You can add multiple levels to a custom hierarchy, but we recommend having 6 levels at most.
The custom hierarchies you create are saved with the model. You can also save them as files and use in other projects. You can only have one hierarchy active at a time, but you can have multiple hierarchies open and switch between them from the toolbar.
To switch to custom hierarchy, click in the Results view:
In the toolbar, you can see the name of the custom hierarchy you have open. To switch between custom different hierarchies you've created, click and select from the list:

You can create and save custom hierarchies for later use. You can edit the hierarchy levels by adding, removing and editing the rows. You can move the rows up or down on the hierarchy level using and . By changing the properties in the cells, you can control how rule results will be structured. To create a new custom hierarchy:

The Custom Hierarchy dialog opens. First, give your custom hierarchy a name:

Next, you can define the hierarchy levels. To add a new level, click .

To select the property for a hierarchy level, select from the drop-down or click in the Property cell. A dialog opens. First, select the property group and then the property. To close the dialog, click OK:

To apply the hierarchy, click OK.

You can save your custom hierarchies as .hierarchy files and use the Open functionality to open them in other projects. If you wish to save the custom hierarchy as a separate file for later use, click Save As:
Navigate to the folder you wish to use and save the file.
