This rule checks that running meters of shelves. Rule also creates a report all storage spaces with their shelf running meters.
The rule parameters are:
Space Classification:
Classification used for classifying spaces. Classification names are set in the Classification Name column of the Storage Spaces and Shelf Running Meters table.
Storage Spaces and Shelf Running Meters:
The table has columns to space identification and a column for required amount of shelf running meters in specified spaces. You can specify spaces to be storage spaces with space usage classification, name, type and/or number. You can leave any of the cells empty. Use the one that best fits your case and the information that you have in the model.
Space in Front of Doors:
Required free space in the front of the doors in storage spaces.
Horizontal Spacing:
Required free space between shelves in the storage.
Vertical Spacing:
Required vertical free space between those shelves.
Shelf Depth:
Required depth of the shelves.
Bottom most Shelf Elevation:
Required elevation of the lowest shelf.
Topmost Shelf Elevation:
Highest accepted elevation of the topmost shelf.
Analysing the results:
The rule creates an issue of all storage spaces, whose calculated shelf running meters is less than required. The calculated shelves are visualized together with the space.
Rule report:
The rule has a report about calculated shelf running meters of all storage spaces in the model.
Rule tools:
The rule has a Tools View for visualizing the shelves in building or in a specified floor.
