This rule checks that all spaces in the model are included to some space group.
The rule parameters are:
Space Classification:
Classification used for classifying spaces. Classification names are set in the Space Classification column of the Ignored Spaces table.
Ignored Spaces:
The table can be used to specify spaces with space usage classification, name, type and/or number that should be ignored by the rule. You can leave any of the cells empty. Use the ones that best fits your case and the information that you have in the model. You can also read values to this table from Excel. When you have a model opened, you can select a space usage classification, type, name, and number from a separate dialog opened from the right side of the table cell.
Space Group Types:
The table contains list of space group types, which are accepted by the rule. If asterisk (*) is used, all space group types are accepted. You can also select a space group type from a separate dialog opened from the right side of the table cell.
Analysing the results:
This rule should be used, if the model includes apartments or some other kind of space groups, and all spaces should be included in them. Space groups and spaces included in them can be investigated in the Space Grouping View
The rule creates an issue for each space, which is not grouped by some space group. Spaces with the same type are collected to same issue. Spaces, which are space groups by themselves are not checked.
Rule report:
The rule does not have a report.
Rule tools:
