This rule checks the accessibility of door from different perspectives. It checks the dimensions, glazing ratios, opening directions, and free spaces of the door.
Important
To use this rule, you must classify spaces by usage.
The rule parameters are:
Space Classification:
Classification is used for classifying spaces. Classification names are set in the 'Space Classification Name 1' and 'Space Classification Name 2' columns of the Door Requirements. Space usage classification can be done in the Classification View. Asterisk (*) can be used as classification or as a part of the classification.
Door Requirements:
The required door dimensions, glazing ratios, and other requirements for doors are between the spaces of given usage classifications.
Use widest panel width as multipanel door width:
If this option is chosen, the width of a multipanel door - when used in checking minimum door width (specified by Min Width) - is the width of its widest panel.
The requirements are configured in a dialog where you can select which requirements apply to a given space classification and the parameters of each requirement. The dialog can be opened by double-clicking a requirement cell in the table. The title of the dialog names the space classifications between which this requirement is applied.
The possible requirements are:

Door opens:
To space: This parameter specifies the classification name of the space to which the door opens to.

Opposing Door:
Minimum Distance: This option allows you to specify a minimum distance between opposing doors.

Pull side free spaces: Here, we define the requirements for the free spaces that are on the pulling side of the door.
In Front of Door: With this checkbox selected, you can specify the dimensions for the free space in front of the door.
Door W + Area D minimum: Here you can specify the minimum sum of door width + area depth in front of door. Typically, this requirement is used to ensure that stretcher can be maneuvered through the door.
Rule: The Rule drop-down specifies whether the door width or width given as parameter is used as width of the free area. The Depth specifies the required depth of the free area.
Handle side on Pull side: With this checkbox selected, you can specify the (width and depth) dimensions for the free space where the door's handle is located on the pull side.
Hinge side on Pull side: With this checkbox selected, you can specify the (width and depth) dimensions for the free space where the door's hinge is located on the pull side.

Push side free spaces: Here, we define the requirements for the free space that is on the push side of the door.
In Front of Door: With this checkbox selected, you can specify the dimensions for the free space in front of the door.

Components to Ignore in Free Surrounding Areas of Door
This filter selects components to ignore in Pull Side Free Spaces and Push Side Free Spaces. For example, if a movable furniture overlaps pull side free spaces of a door, but this filter selects this movable furniture, the movable furniture does not violate this door's pull side free spaces.
Property Parameters
The property parameters provide a way to specify the properties in which specific door dimensions are provided. Clicking the button opens a ‘Select Property’ dialog box which allows you to select a valid numeric value for the selected parameters. When values are found in the specified properties in the model, they are used. If they don’t exist, the default values given in the Door Dimensions table are used.
First Priority Values for Door Dimensions
Valid values defined in the given four property parameters are taken into account by the rule as first priority for using them for a door's dimension.

Property for Frame Thickness: This is the primary parameter for the Frame Thickness value for doors.

Property for Panel Thickness: This is the primary parameter for the Panel Thickness value for doors.

Property for Threshold Height: This is the primary parameter for the Threshold Height for the doors.

Property for Glazing Ratio: This is the primary parameter for the Glazing Ratio value for the doors.
Second Priority Values for Door Dimensions
Valid values defined in the given two parameters are taken into account by the rule as second priority for using them for a door's dimension.

Door Classification: You can specify doors using the 'Door Classification'.

Door Dimensions: The actual door dimensions and glazing ratios by door type used in checking of requirements.

Door Classification Name: The "Door Type" column has been replaced by the "Door Classification" column in the 'Door Dimension' table. The previous values from the 'Door Type' column are converted to the 'Door Classification' values.
Third Priority Values for Door Dimensions
Valid values defined in the given three parameters are taken into account by the rule as third priority for using them for a door's dimension.

Revolving Accompanied by Swing Door: If this is checked on, the revolving doors must be accompanied by swing door.
Ramp Classification:
Classification is used for ramps.

Analysing the results:
The rule uses three-level categorization in results. The main level category contains the classifications of the spaces that the door connects. The second category level is the type of the issue. The third category level is the type of spaces. The rule creates following types of issues:
