Removing Models

It's possible to remove a model in the Model Tree view, however, it's not recommended. If models which have associated issues are removed from the federated model, then, once removed, the issues generated from the model will automatically be orphaned. This impacts the ability to automatically re-check for corrections in revisions. More importantly, if the issues are synchronised to an issue management system then these links will also revert to a manual process.

Important

If you remove a model from the federated model, this can impact any checking or results that have already been completed.

To remove a model:

  1. Right-click the model you wish to remove in the Model Tree view.

  2. Select Remove from Model from the context menu.

  3. A dialog opens. Click OK to confirm:

  4. If needed, save changes to the model.
