With the Paint tool, you can add and remove paint, to and from either selected or visible components. To paint components, you need to first place the components into the Selection Basket and paint them. The Paint tool options are available in the main toolbar:

To paint the components in the Selection Basket:
Add the components into the Selection Basket.

Click Paint Selected with Color (
). The Paint Selection dialog opens:
Select the color and color transparency of the component(s) in the Selection Basket. You can preview the selected color before applying it to your component(s) in the Preview section.

To apply the selected color, click OK. The selected component(s) are painted.
To remove the paint from the selected components, click
.
To paint the components currently visible in the 3D view, click 
. To remove the paint, click 
.
