This article describes how to use the Once Click LCA Extension for Solibri Office. Please note that this article is still work in progress and doesn’t yet include the details of all the functionalities.

The extension is currently available for testing in Solibri Solution Center Beta. To use it, you need a beta testing account for Solibri (for more information, see Solibri Society), and a One Click LCA license.

The One Click LCA extension for Solibri is available in Solibri Solution Center Beta. With the extension, you can easily transfer model data from Solibri to One Click LCA for life cycle assessment, and examine environmental impacts for all building materials directly in Solibri.
One Click LCA and Solibri are jointly offering tools for Digital Construction to solve Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) automation. This new, plugin-based integration lets customers use models in Solibri, validate the data and easily automate LCA using One Click LCA.
This solution can be used by contractors, engineers and designers globally to automate LCA calculations for over 60 different standards, regulations and certifications. One Click LCA and Solibri are committed to making LCA assessments easy, accurate and timely.

To install the One Click LCA extension and the related resources:

Open Solibri Office and login with your SSC Beta credentials.

Click File > Solution Center. The extension should be assigned to you and thus available for you:

Click Install and wait for the process to complete.

Go back to Solibri Office. Click File > Roles and open the One Click LCA.xml role file.

Open a model.

In the Model Tree view, right click the model and select Categories > Choose in the context menu. Create a new category called “OneClickLCA_models”. Note that this step is mandatory for the extension to work.
This category should contain all the models calculated for the LCA. You can change the model category by right clicking a model and selecting Categories > OneClickLCA_models:

The One Click LCA tool is visible as a new Solibri Layout. In the One Click LCA view, login to One Click LCA with your credentials (https://oneclicklcaapp.com/app/):

To login, use the API password, which can be copied from Account & Settings > My user account (User profile) > Get API password:
The One Click LCA view has a table with several columns. The table below describes the information included in each column.

Important
If you’ve modified any values in the table for a previous calculation, clicking Start resets those values.
