With Solibri Offline, you can use Solibri without an internet connection. Solibri Offline is a computer-specific subscription product. It can only be activated once, and comes with an expiration date. Solibri Offline is activated by a separate application called Offline Licensing Tool, which is located in the Solibri installation folder.
Note that:
-
Before you can install and take an offline license into use, at least one offline license needs to be for you by Solibri. If you have other than Offline licenses on your account (for example, Solibri Office team subscription seats for online use), you will need to create a user group for offline users and add the users into that group.
-
Each offline license is machine-specific and user-specific.
-
Each computer using an offline license needs its own fingerprint file (hardware ID) and license token.
-
An offline license expires in a set period of time, starting from when the license has been generated. The expiration matches the one you've initially subscribed for. After the expiration date, the license is automatically cleared and can no longer be used.
-
When the license has 14 days remaining, you will receive a message every time you open Solibri, informing you that the license is about to expire.
-
You cannot run both offline an online versions of Solibri on the same computer, as the offline version is always used if it has been installed.
-
Extensions can't be used with Solibri Offline.
In short, to take Solibri Offline into use, you need to:
-
Prepare the setup in OrgAdmin (create user pool if needed, add users).
-
Install Solibri on the computer(s) that will be using an offline license.
-
Create the machine fingerprint for each computer using the Offline Licensing Tool.
-
Download the offline license token(s) in OrgAdmin view (internet connection required, from any computer).
-
Import the the offline license token into each computer.
-
Set the user information in Solibri.
