You can easily assign a newer version of a product or an extension to the users by upgrading the assignment.
Tip
If a user is trying to start Solibri and gets an error message saying "Associated version number (X.X.) is smaller than required version number (X.Y)", this means that the user has not been assigned the version they are trying to start. Solibri will start in Solibri Anywhere mode.
This usually happens after the software has been upgraded to a newer version. The administrator needs to upgrade the assignment for the user.

Go to the Assignment tab.

Select Products or Extensions.

Select the product or the extension. To see the wish list, use Optional filters:

Click Refresh.

Click Upgrade.

A dialog opens:

Select the version from which you wish to update.

Select the version to which you wish to update.

Click Yes. The users who have the old version will be upgraded to the new version instead (license assignments are moved from the old version to the new version).
