License assignments allow Solution Center administrators to control user access to the software. Once a user has been added to the Solution Center, they need to have access to the appropriate version of Solibri Site or Office by having a licence assigned. Otherwise, the software will start in Solibri Anywhere mode or fall back to the latest assigned version. You can add, remove, change and upgrade these assignments in the Assignment tab. Note that you can assign more licenses than you have on the account.

Important
When you wish to assign the latest version of a product to all the users using it, you can do this quickly by upgrading the product assignments.
Important
If you assign a license to 100 or more users at once, the assignment is done as a background process. This will take some time (usually less than 24 hours), and you must wait until the process is finished before you make any changes in the Assignments tab. You will receive an email when the process is complete.
Tip
If a user is trying to start Solibri and gets the following error message: "Unable to checkout a license. You are not assigned to a license pool", this means that the user has not been assigned any version of the product (Solibri Office or Solibri Site).
To assign a Product license to users:

Log in to Solibri Solution Center and click on the Admin View.

Go to the Assignment tab and select Products:

Select the Product(s) you wish to assign or adjust. To select multiple versions, press and hold Ctrl/Cmd while selecting.

Select the version you wish to assign or adjust. To select multiple versions, press and hold Ctrl/Cmd while selecting.

Click Refresh. A list of users appears in the Users field:

Usernames: shows the username.

Info: shows the versions the user is using.
Note
Please note that assigning one version automatically enables access to all previous versions. For example, if 9.10 is selected, then 9.10 plus 9.9 and 9.8 are automatically enabled.

The selected Product(s) and licenses are listed in separate columns.

Check or uncheck the User(s) you wish to edit. If you wish to assign a version to all users, check Assign all as highlighted in the image above.

Click Save changes.

When the processing is finished, a message will appear to confirm the changes have been made
Note
Users without administration rights on the Solution Center, are able to see and wish for extensions only if Solibri Office is assigned to them
To assign an Extension license to users:

Select the Extension(s) you wish to assign or adjust. To select multiple versions, press and hold Ctrl/Cmd while selecting
