With Solibri Offline, you can use Solibri without an internet connection. Solibri Offline is a computer-specific subscription product. It can only be activated once, and comes with an expiration date. Solibri Offline is activated by a separate application called Offline Licensing Tool, which is located in the Solibri installation folder.
When you purchase Solibri Offline Subscription, the Offline Licenses tab in Solution Center is enabled. If you don't have any offline licenses, the tab is greyed out.
Before you can install and take an offline license into use, at least one offline user pool needs to be created for you by Solibri. Solibri Office and Solibri Site require their own user pools for offline usage.
Each offline license is machine-specific, but not user-specific. You can't sign in with your credentials when you're using an offline license, but user information can be added manually after starting Solibri.
Each computer using an offline license needs its own fingerprint file.
An offline license expires in a year, starting from when the license has been generated. After a year, the license is automatically cleared and can no longer be used.
When the license has 14 days remaining, you will receive a message every time you open Solibri, informing you that the license is about to expire.
You cannot run both offline an online versions of Solibri on the same computer, as the offline version is always used if it has been installed.
Extensions can't be used with Solibri Offline.
In the Users License Details tab, an offline license is shown in a grey background with yellow stripes:
In short, to take Solibri Offline into use, you need to:
Create a fingerprint file.
Generate the offline license in Solution Center (internet connection required, from any computer).
